One fun fact about me is that I had the unique experience of teaching at a bilingual private school in northern Honduras during my undergrad.

About Me

I am a 6-8 Grade Science Teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. This is my 4th year working in the district. Before working in Chicago, I worked in the public schools in Minneapolis, Northern Iowa, springs">Colorado Springs, and the Navajo Nation.

Experience

Licensed in ESL, Reading Intervention, Elementary Education, Early Childhood, and Middle School Science.

Approach

As a student, I received additional tutoring in my core subjects up until high school. I understand the need for tutoring and retreaching of certain concepts. I am committed to helping students learn the material in class to stay on par with their peers.
