About Me

I have a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from lawrence-college">Sarah Lawrence College and a master’s in English Education from New York University. I am a full-time certified teacher. I love teaching. I fought against my father’s wishes for law and medicine to become an educator.

Experience

I have a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from lawrence-college">Sarah Lawrence College and a master’s in English Education from New York University. I am a certified teacher and have almost 20 years of experience in schools and also alternative classroom settings. I have taught many disciplines including literature, reading, writing, math, test prep, ESL, history, and language.

Approach

I believe that grit and determination are as important, if not more, as intelligence and talent to be successful. I want to teach my students to believe in themselves.
