Fun Facts

I grew up in forest">River Forest, IL. My passions include politics, pottery, and traveling. When I'm not studying, you can always find me at the pottery studio making bowls, plates, cups, etc. My junior year of high school, I had the unforgettable experience of studying abroad in Cadiz, Spain. I am continuing my travels abroad at the John Felice Rome Center my junior year of college. While taking classes, I'll also be interning at an Italian law firm.

About Me

I am a creative individual, fervent Cubs fan, and driven intellectual eyeing law school. I currently attend chicago">Loyola University Chicago while double majoring in Political Science and English. Eventually, I hope to become a criminal defense lawyer in Chicago.

As an older sister, I have an inherent mentor/chicago">tutor gene. But apart from that, during high school, I tutored at an elementary school in Oak Park, IL. Along with a few other volunteers, we helped raise a class of 30 students out of the state testing achievement gap. Presently, I work at Village Leadership Academy as a chicago">tutor and literacy aid. My main job there is reading and math comprehension.

I wholeheartedly believe that education is the key to any future. Throughout struggles in my life, I realized that school provided an immense amount of stability for me and so I clung to it. Ultimately, I want to be the positive mentor and educational support system for which a child looks. It's my responsibility to not only help students learn as an intellectual, but grow as an individual all while having a little fun in the process.
