Fun Facts

I have great passion for soccer. I am a fan of Chelsea Football Club in London, UK. I visited the club stadium in London in 2012 and had the opportunity to see, touch and take picture with the Champions League Trophy (Europe coveted trophy).
I have phobia for water but I have strong desire to learn how to swim.
I have academic credentials from Nigeria, UK, Canada and now am studying for my MBA in the USA.

About Me

I am a certified Accountant both in UK and Canada (ACCA and CGA). I also have an associate and bachelor's degree in Accounting and I have about 9 years work experience in Accounting and Finance .
I am also an experienced maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor who adopts a customized teaching approach based on the traits of each student. I have taught accounting, economics, mathematics, business studies, Microsoft excel and word at different grade levels. As a certified Accountant, I also have great mentoring experience. I am presently a mentor to many accounting students.
I am presently pursing my MBA here in the USA and I intend to become a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) by taking the CPA exam or become a forensic Auditor.

Experience

While studying for my associate degree, I had the opportunity to maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor classmates and juniors in Accounting. It was a wonderful experience and made me understand the subject more.
During my working years I also served as mentors to junior colleagues both in my capacity as a supervisor and a certified Accountant.

Approach

I have come to understand that the basic background of any subject is key in the understanding and love for the subject. As a maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor, I take students through basic background knowledge as I believe this will make them appreciate the subject.
I also try as much as possible to relate my teachings with real life scenarios because it is one good way to grasp the knowledge.
