About Me

I was born and raised in Freehold, NJ. I am a recent 2024 graduate from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Science. I plan to pursue a medical degree.

Experience

With experience as a tutor at PALS Learning Center, I have worked with students from grades 6 to 9, focusing on improving students' math skills to enhance their conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. My background also includes volunteering with DC Reads during college, where I developed lesson plans and tutored K-5 students in lower-income areas, fostering improved literacy and academic confidence.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is inspired by the positive impact of helpful tutors I worked with during high school and college, who demonstrated patience and adaptability in their teaching. I strive to create a similarly supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. I focus on building a strong foundation of conceptual understanding, using clear explanations and real-world examples to make complex topics more accessible.
