About Me

I am a Johns Hopkins University graduate, published author, and medical school applicant. I love writing, and I look forward to helping you strengthen your ability to understand difficult texts and communicate your ideas.

Experience

I started a virtual tutoring program at my university for students in Pakistan aimed at coaching them through the college application process. In a personal capacity, I have edited hundreds and hundreds of college essays, social science papers, and newspaper articles. I also do ACT/SAT coaching for many of my younger relatives.

Approach

I take my time with each student and get down into the details of how everyone can make their writing smoother and more impactful. I break down complicated grammar and style conventions in simple terms and believe in thoughtful repetition. We keep trying until we master it! It is all about continual improvement and encouragement.
