About Me

I have a background in Montessori early childhood education and several years of babysitting/nanny experience. Unofficially I have tutored my young clients (homework help) for just over a year and it's been my favorite part of the job! I really love working with children and cannot wait to get started helping more students to succeed!

Experience

I have just over one year of experience helping my young clients (aged 5 to 12) with their homework in various core subjects as a nanny for two Houston families. Although I can't yet claim professional tutoring experience, I have jumped at any opportunity to help others with their academic work for as long as I can remember. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get started tutoring in this professional context!

Approach

I find it easy to level/empathize with students exactly where they are, and attune to their specific needs. Through asking pertinent questions, I guide students to learn and understand concepts for themselves as we move through the material at hand. I love helping others to love the journey of learning while discovering the breadth of their own potential. ☺️
