Fun Facts
I’m currently getting my degree to work as a video game designer.
About Me
I am a science/texas/fort-worth">Computer Science major currently at Tarrant County College. I graduated Cum Laude at Tarleton in 2020 with my degree in Applied Psychology with a specialization in teaching Psychology. My long-term goal is to become a video game designer.
Experience
While working at the writing center during my undergraduate degree, I worked as both a front desk associate and a tutor in different writing styles. My main experience is in teaching MLA 7th edition and APA, however, I have some experience with Chicago style as well. While working on my Master’s I worked as a graduate teaching assistant and helped tutor students in psychology. I also worked on building my own psychology course for educational psychology.
Approach
Growing up, I struggled with teachers working either too fast or too slow for the pace I was working which usually left me feeling pretty frustrated. As I got older, I managed to get into classes where the students can move at their own pace and it’s really helped me a lot. In response my own tutoring style centers around moving at their student’s pace and adjusting to match it.
