Outside of studying and work, I like to play tennis. It is one of my favorite sports and I have been playing it since high school.

About Me

I am a current sophomore at the University of San Francisco and I am pursuing a degree in nursing. I have been tutoring kids for over two years now and have absolutely loved it. I have a passion for helping individuals and I strive to help kids enjoy learning.

Experience

I was a previous instructor at Kumon since October of 2022. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there as I taught math and reading. I have more experience teaching early learners, however, I am also capable of teaching students up in elementary school, middle school, and high school as I have worked with all ages. I also am confident in teaching specific subjects at the college level like English and writing. I have previous tutoring experience at the college level when helping my classmates and group

Approach

As a child, I found it difficult to approach my teacher when I needed help. I was scared to raise my hand and ask for assistance on a topic because I did not want to feel like I was asking something unnecessary. However, through my years of schooling, I learned that it is the learning environment that is most important when trying to understand a concept or grasp a subject.
