One passion of mine is that I love to read whether it be comic books or series of books I love to read, and I love to learn more about history, whether that be US history or world history, I also love football and basketball

About Me

I am currently a junior criminal justice student at Temple University. I am from Bridgeport, Connecticut I have been on the dean's list for the last 3 semesters. I hope to attend law school after undergrad and become a family law lawyer

Experience

I am a member of the student activist against sexual assault club at Temple University. I am also a part of the black student union at Temple University and I am a part of our mock trial club at Temple University. I have volunteered with Jumpstart for 2 semesters which is teaching kids how to be properly prepared for the next grade level. I have worked with kids now for 6 years and I feel like this is my calling to be the person I wish someone could have been for me.

Approach

When I was in grade school, it was very hard for me to keep my attention in school because I felt like the curriculum wasn’t for everybody. I felt as if the curriculum was made for kids who only learned one kind of way one reality kids learned in all kinds of ways and it took me a long time to figure that out, and when I did, I felt as if I could give back to my community and kids like me by helping them learn and other kinds of ways
