Fun Facts
I love animation! I think that cartoons are an amazing medium that have yet to be fully explored to their greatest potential in the United States. I want to be able to use this (animation) to change the world.
About Me
I am a sophomore Dramatic Writing and East Asian Studies major at NYU. By the time that I graduate I should be fluent in Korean and Japanese. I absolutely adore East Asian (the big three: Korea, Japan, and China) culture and history. My ultimate goal is to be a writer or even greater, become the creator of an animated television show.
Experience
As a high school student I loved helping others, and that love of aiding others, caused me to decide to become a manhattan">tutor. I have been manhattan">tutoring students for the last five years. Working for Frog manhattan">Tutors allows me to aid more students that need my help. I believe that manhattan">tutors have a duty to help their students reach their greatest potential, and no matter how difficult something seems, it can always in the end, be overcome.
Approach
Although I was born in the United States, I spent the first six years of life outside the country, and English was not my first language. As a result, when I returned to the U.S. I was placed into an ESL class. However, my grandparents--who had been teachers, and parents refused to have me stay in the ESL class. They worked hard to teach me the true fundamentals, and by the end of the year, I had moved into a much higher level class. I want to help others like me-- people that have difficulty.

English Tutoring
I am a writing student, and love English. I think it's a wonderful language and beautiful things have been been written using it. A language that has evolved over time, and has a multitude of influences, it is an absolutely beautiful language.
History Tutoring
I love history, to an almost unhealthy level. I read history textbooks for fun because I find them more exciting than most works of fiction. I can discuss history for hours, and I want to help give my potential students that same love of history.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I love reading. I used to have difficulty with reading comprehension when I was younger, but after a lot of practice, I got better and better, and realized that reading comprehension is amazing.
Writing Tutoring
I am a writing major in college. I was initially accepted into college because of my writing portfolio, and as a result, I love writing.
AP English Tutoring
English Literature is my forte. I love reading and analyzing a plethora of famous and not so famous works.
AP History Tutoring
I love history, and have taken AP US, AP Euro, and AP World History. I love history, and in particular East Asian history- my double major focuses on primarily Korean/Japanese/Chinese relations, and their histories starting from ancient times.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I had difficulty doing my homework when I was younger, and had many helpers when it came to doing my homework. I have learned a lot of different time management skills and would love to help others get that.
Religion Tutoring
Having gone to Catholic School for my elementary school education, I had an education very heavily steeped within religion. I have learned quite a bit over time, and find that it is a complex topic, and there are a plethora of different religions, and it is fascinating navigating all of them.
