Fun Facts
I am a member of a touring musical group. Recent tours have brought me to; Australia, China, and Vietnam!
About Me
I have recently moved to Denver, CO. I have a Physics BS from Rochester Institute Technology, where I was a biophysical researcher studying a component of the human vitreous (human eyeball). I am passionate about making math and physics relate to students lives and giving them the confidence that they can do it!
Experience
During my time at RIT, I was a teachers assistant for Physics 1&2. This was a “workshop” based environment where I would work alongside the professor in class assisting students through problems. After RIT, I have worked with high school and college-aged students, assisting them with test/quiz prep, homework, and conceptual understandings for physics and math classes.
Approach
I work through problems step-by-step, in a methodical way as to illustrate the concepts, problem solving strategies, and pitfalls relevant to the problem. I relate to students and share my frustrations and joys with studying their subjects.
