Fun Facts

One thing people quickly discover about me is that I'm passionate about dancing! Whenever I get the chance, you'll either find me dancing or watching others do it. I'm the second oldest of three siblings, and while I've lived in a few places, this is my first time calling Texas home. I was born in Miami, FL. Even though I'm not great at it, I love singing and cooking. And someday, I hope to learn how to swing dance!

About Me

I recently graduated from Bethune-Cookman University with a degree in Mass Communications, and I was honoured to be on the Dean's List for two consecutive years! Now that I’ve graduated, I’m looking forward to attending the University of Texas at Arlington to pursue my Master’s in Business Administration. My long-term goal is to build a variety of businesses, from tutoring and childcare services to eventually launching my clothing brand.

Experience

As a member of the National Debate Team, I had the chance to tutor students bi-weekly in all subjects during my senior year of high school. Once I started college, I was excited to get back into teaching, so I volunteered at local elementary schools around the Daytona Beach area, working with young children. Now, working with Frog Tutoring allows me to make an even bigger impact by helping more students who need support!

Approach

As a child, I faced challenges in school and often found learning to be frustrating and discouraging. However, in middle school, I had a teacher who, through constant encouragement and dedication, helped me discover my true potential. As a tutor, I strive to bring that same positive approach to every session. Rather than simply giving students the answers, I believe it’s my job to teach them not only the material but also the study skills they need to succeed in all of their classes!
