I keep ant colonies as pets. During the Summer, I can often be found outside hunting for queen ants.

About Me

I am a Junior at Yale University enrolled in the BA/MA program in Classics, where I will receive both a Bachelor's and Master's degree after my fourth year.

Experience

I have tutored for the past four years, including at Yale as a language tutor and Teach for America's Ignite fellowship as a math tutor. I have also taught math classes for Summer School.

Approach

When I was a Middle School student, I hated math and writing papers. It was only when, as a happy accident, I tutored some students in both subjects that I developed a passion for both. I remember how I used to think every day when I went to school, “If only math and writing did not exist, School would be so fun!” The fact that tutoring was what sparked my interest in both of these subjects is the same reason I love tutoring now.
