I am a lover of video games, especially RPG and grand strategy games. I am also a big nerd about pre-modern era history and art, as well as the philosophy of biology and ecology. In my free time, I go rockhounding and fossil collecting!

About Me

I am a Seattle-based experienced educator with experience as both a private tutor and teaching my art courses at the high school level. I earned both of my degrees from Tufts University, with studies in STEM and the liberal arts. I love teaching test-taking strategies, having earned a 35 on my first try on the ACT!

Experience

I currently tutor ELA and Math to K12 students, with a focus on cognitive learning strategies and inquiry-based learning. I also have experience as a full-time art teacher at a public high school and years of experience as a private art tutor. I have ample experience working with students of all ages and learning needs!

Approach

I believe that all students deserve a welcoming and affirming learning environment. I aim to make every tutoring session a confidence boost for all of my students. I utilize inquiry-based learning, as curiosity is one of the most effective learning tools we have!
