An interesting fun fact about me is that I can speak 5 different languages fluently, and I love using my skills to help friends navigate international spices and other items when we go for grocery shopping.

About Me

I am Sabreen Jassani, and I take pride in my Pakistani heritage. After earning my Master’s in Education from the University of Karachi, I seized the opportunity to further my education in the United States in 2013. Since then, I have embraced the numerous opportunities available to me and have cultivated a successful career in education and other fields. During the pandemic, I pursued additional certifications in online teaching and cosmetology, enhancing my skill set and broadening my qualifications. With over ten years of experience in teaching and administration across various age groups, I employ a range of strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring they grasp the concepts presented in the classroom. Whether through coaching, mentoring, or a personalized approach to learning, my mission is to empower students to reach their fullest potential. My educational journey has shaped me into an effective and influential leader, committed to guiding others toward success.

Experience

As the head girl of the school, I had the opportunity to tutor elementary students and those in 10th grade after school in all subject areas. The students loved my classes because I incorporated engaging activities and videos to make learning more enjoyable and effective. I was fortunate that all my students improved their grades, and this resulted in positive feedback from my teachers and the principal, who were thrilled with the progress of those who had previously been struggling academically

Approach

I believe that learning should be an interactive experience, so I utilize a variety of teaching methods, such as group work, presentations, and videos. I consistently encourage my students to connect theoretical concepts to real-life situations, which helps them develop effective problem-solving skills. Moreover, I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel safe to express their ideas and ask questions.
