A fun fact about me is that I love music, especially playing the trumpet and singing. It’s a great hobby of mine, and I love to perform anytime I please. I’m also the Father of 2 smart boys, age 2 and a 3-month-old.

About Me

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist, working at Duke University Hospital. I’ve been working there for almost 3 years now. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from East Carolina University and a Master's Degree in Biology from N.C. A & T State University. I take education seriously as I am passionate about helping a learning student in need.

Experience

When I was a student in graduate school, I became a teaching assistant, where I taught biology labs. I immensely enjoyed it.

Approach

In my early years, I have always had a desire to learn science. My first exposure was doing projects in elementary school. My Dad, who is a Paediatrician, inspired me to be a scientist. My Dad and I would spend all of the time going over science-based work. My goal is to broaden young learners’ horizons with the new developments of the biological world.
