I am what some would call a die hard film buff. For as long as I can remember I have been compulsively watching film after film and following up on the latest news in the world of art cinema. Some of my favorite directors include Robert Altman, Werner Herzog, and Andrei Tarkovsky.

About Me

I grew up in a small suburb of Chicago called Wilmette. Today I am a Cinema Studies Major in Tisch at NYU. I plan to graduate in 2015 and go in to film finance.

As someone who has been tutored all throughout both middle school and high school, I have seen my fare share of manhattan">tutors. After seeing so many manhattan">tutors in so many different subjects, I've racked up quite a bit of time with manhattan">tutors of all kinds. Now that I'm in college, I'm really looking forward to spending some time helping students in the same areas I've been fortunate enough to have some experience in.

After going through so many manhattan">tutoring sessions myself, I've found that the best approach to take with students is to try to learn each individual's way of learning, and to work hand in hand with them to develop their learning skills in order to better grasp material. This way, students aren't just memorizing facts, but working closely with material in a variety of different ways that can help them better understand concepts as well. I'll be helping students through this by trying to approach subject matter with new and interesting perspectives that will help the student to better understand not just material, but their own individual learning attributes as well.
