Fun Facts

I love to go hiking! I recently moved from the East Coast to Utah, and I've been hiking the Rockies every chance I get! I also love to ski and mountain bike, pretty much any outdoor activity. Lastly, I'm currently rebuilding a 1946 Willys Jeep.

About Me

I'm a recent college grad working for Owens Corning in the Maintenance Manufacturing Leadership Program. In school, I studied mechanical engineering at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach.

Experience

I originally studied AutoCAD in my first year of college; however, most of my experience was when I started using it in my internship for documentation, parts drawings, floor plans, and much more. This truly opened my eyes to its possibilities and made me pursue learning as much about it as I could. Now, at Owens Corning, I'm continuing to use AutoCAD daily for floor plans, schematics, and putting together engineering packages. I'm hoping to learn enough to get my AutoCAD Certified Professional.

Approach

I've always found I learned best when I'm in front of somebody who takes the time to break down a subject into its core components. This is especially so when it's a 1-on-1 style setting. I plan on mimicking this. After taking the time to learn the students' skills, strengths, weaknesses, and interests, I'm going to break down the subject to the best of my ability and make sure they understand the foundational knowledge before building up.
