Fun Facts
My biggest passion is cars. Whenever I have any free time you'll either find me at a car show or going on a drive with some friends. I have an older brother, a younger half sister, and I moved to San Diego from Houston, Texas. Another fun fact about me is that my dad is from Morocco, my stepmom is from Brazil, and I went to an international school up until my senior year of high school!
About Me
I recently graduated from the University of San Diego with a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in math. I am currently looking for my first full time job here in San Diego. My ultimate career goal is to work in the automotive industry, and more specifically for Tesla!
Experience
Throughout my college career, my friends always asked me for help on their math homework as well as to prepare for their exams. I realized that everyone benefited greatly and that I had a strong ability to teach math. I've also been very successful in helping my 7 year old sister with her homework. I therefore know that I have the ability to help tutor all ages. I was always very patient I would like to continue to use my skills in order to help make a positive impact on other students as well!
Approach
When I was in school, I noticed that some teachers didn't do a great job at allowing the students to master the basics before going on to more challenging problems. As a result, the problems would get exponentially harder because I would become more and more lost and confused. As a tutor, I will use this approach so that the students feel comfortable and confident before moving on to more complicated problems. I feel like this approach can be carried over to any subject!
