I have several passions which are learning all about computers, spending time with family when given the chance, especially my younger sister, we have an unbreakable bond that can never be broken; I like to spend my time watching true crime shows, cooking, dining out at delicious restaurants; and enjoying relaxation with my two kitties Gracie and Vic.

About Me

I currently just received my Associate of Science degree in Mathematics from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in April of this year, and just transferred to Saginaw Valley State University and am set to start in fall 2025 to complete my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/ Possible Teacher certification optio,n but still not sure; also with a Biological Science minor.

Experience

As a community college student at the time, I tutored/Mentored students studying to obtain their GED. I tutored the students in math, science. and some language arts subjects. Also, while building their confidence to accomplish their goal of successfully passing the GED exam.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in all grade levels, partially because I was not taught to have significant study skills, and terrible confidence in my ability to do well in my courses, especially in mathematics. I suffered math test anxiety, which I would panic on exam day; but one day, I decided to tackle this fear by getting the help that I needed to combat this terrible math phobia.
