About Me
I retired from my hair and nail salon in 2021, which I operated from 1984 to 2021. During that time, I earned my degree in special education. I was also a substitute teacher in a variety of schools. I was also employed by a nonprofit organization teaching elementary school students about life skills/behaviors. I set my hours when operating my salon so that I could have room to do other types of work.
Experience
My experience stems from substitute teaching for various grades in multiple schools. I also taught at a nonprofit organisation called Wings for Life, where I instructed elementary students in life skills and behaviours. I also worked at WFL as a program coordinator.
Approach
As a child and while 0 growing into an adult, I loved school. I’m enthusiastic about students and getting them excited about learning. It’s a positive energy that students can feel. I’m also intuitive to a child’s needs. My approach is simple and considerate of students' needs.
