About Me

Hello, I'm Dr. Darnell Barnett, Ed.D., who is a national virtual certified teacher. I have been teaching 1st and 2nd grade for 20 years. In addition, I have been both a paraeducator and substitute teacher for 3 years. Currently, l have been teaching middle school mathematics virtually since 2020. Furthermore, I have obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the maryland">University of Maryland. My Master's of Education degree from The Johns Hopkins University. Then, in 2020, I received my Educational Specialist degree from Liberty University. Finally, in 2022, I earned my Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University. I do believe in school choice and that parents have the right to choose the best school for their child. As a teacher, I have taught in both public and charter schools. My philosophical educational worldview is that all students can learn when given the opportunity. I am looking forward to helping students and making a positive impact.
