About Me

I am a Mathematics Tutor who loves to explore new ways of making math not only approachable, but also enjoyable. I have been tutoring mathematics since I was a sophomore in my undergraduate studies. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics as well as a Master's in Secondary Mathematics Education. I have experience tutoring all mathematics subjects, ranging from 5th-grade Mathematics all the way to AP Calculus. If you are looking for a well-rounded mathematics tutor, I am the tutor for you!

Experience

I have experience in a variety of subjects, as well as experience working one-on-one with a full classroom of 30 students virtually. I also have experience using a variety of different platforms and programs to guide students depending on their specific learning styles.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is first ensuring that my students are comfortable with me by making the content as enjoyable as possible. I also use my students' specific learning styles in order to gauge how to approach teaching students. For example, if the student is more of a visual learner, I will use diagrams, charts, and visuals as much as possible.
