Fun Facts

I am a dancer at heart currently training at a latin dance studio. I love music and everything it has to offer as I am perpetually moving, my energy level is matched on stage! I enjoy traveling and have a curious predisposition that draws me to random niches such as infectious diseases, history of afrocuban dancing, and ancient religions.

About Me

I am a post-bac student at gwinnett-college">Georgia Gwinnett College having graduated in 2012 from washington-university">George washington-university">Washington University in cognitive neuropsychology and minoring in Biology. I am taking the GRE this summer and hope to attend graduate school for epidemiology following a fellowship last year at CDC.

Experience

Throughout my undergraduate years, I was an undergraduate teaching assistant from Biology I and II for science majors. In addition I tutored Spanish and French at the language center. I am accustomed to atlanta">tutoring students of all ages as I was also a piano teacher throughout high school. I enjoy using my academic experience to help students at any level.

Approach

My approach is through goal-oriented atlanta">tutoring. I find that working towards something specific helps students more readily accomplish their goals. Being focused and allowing students to explore and develop themselves in different subject materials with a goal in sight not only helps them accomplish this specific goal but allows them to understand a mindset and attitude for future endeavors. Students that feel satisfied with their work tend to feel more motivated for future work.
