Fun Facts
I was forced to repeat first grade. Starting, I went to a private school that tested me and, because I could read, I was placed in first grade. The next year, I changed to a public school, and the school decided I was "too young" for second grade. I'm told that I would get in trouble in that class because I would get up from my seat and try to help my fellow students with their assignments.
About Me
In high school, I scored in the top .5 percentile on the PSAT and was a National Merit Scholar. I attended college at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. While attending, I was on the Dean's List several times, was in the Honours Program, and graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in History. I then attended the denver">University of Denver for Law School, where I was on the Law Review. I then practised law for about 20 years.
Experience
In high school, I performed exceptionally well on the PSAT and ultimately became a National Merit Scholar. I ended up attending college on a full-ride scholarship. While in college, I worked at the Athletic Academic Centre, tutoring student-athletes. While in college, I decided I wanted to attend law school, so I took the LSAT and performed well. While in law school, I worked as a Teacher's Assistant for one of my professors. For the past few years, I've worked exclusively as a tutor.
Approach
My approach with my students is generally student-centric, as I believe each student learns uniquely. As such, I strive to create a personalised and engaging atmosphere for my students, where I focus on the client's individual needs, strengths, and interests. As such, I believe in the benefits of individualised learning plans, rather than insisting on a one-size-fits-all approach. I try, as much as possible, to make the learning process collaborative.
