I love hiking and spending time outside in nature. One of my family's goals is to visit every national park in our country. We are well on our way! I'm such an outdoors person! I literally will do anything outside. I find the sunshine lightens my mood and fills me with happiness. I'm also an avid reader and love science fiction thrillers, especially.

About Me

I am currently a middle school math teacher in Atascadero, California. I have found my passion in teaching. I love to watch people reach their goals and accomplish things that were once difficult for them. It is truly an honor to be a small part of their journey.

Experience

I have been a teacher in the state of California for many years. I have taught students in various subjects. I understand the learning process quite well and can help students reach their goals. Every person can learn. I truly believe that! The process is different for each person. The job of the teacher/ tutor is to help the student understand their process. I have honed my skills over the years to do this.

Approach

I believe all students can succeed if they have a teacher who meets them where they are in their journey and starts there. Encouragement and patience help a student build confidence.
