About Me
I first gained exposure to online education as a graduate student when I pursued my Master's through Texas A&M University. I have taught mathematics at the middle, high school and collegiate levels in the state of Florida for the past 25 years.
Experience
My experience as a mathematics educator includes tenure in both the physical classroom as well as in the online space. I first gained exposure to online education as a graduate student when I pursued my Master's through Texas A&M University.
Approach
Interesting aspect of my background: When I was in elementary school, I was diagnosed as having a learning disability in math. At the time, it was thought that I would only progress as far as Pre-Algebra. I was determined to exceed everyone's expectations. I took it upon myself to learn mathematics on my own, relying on my teachers merely as guides. As I mastered each new concept, I would teach back what I learned to my peers.
