Fun Facts
I love exploring new hobbies and trying out different activities, from painting and baking to volunteering at local hospitals and community events. I’m bilingual, which allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Helping others brings me a lot of joy, whether it’s tutoring students, assisting patients, or supporting disaster relief efforts.
About Me
Hello! I am about to start nursing school, a path that reflects my dedication to helping others and pursuing a meaningful career. I value learning, growth, and perseverance, and I’m excited to develop the skills and knowledge that will allow me to make a real impact in healthcare. I currently attend Cerritos College with a 3.74 GPA. When I am not studying, I am volunteering at the local hospital, gaining experience in a medical setting. I hope to one day become a nurse practitioner.
Experience
I have experience working with students across all grade levels, from TK to high school, which has helped me understand a variety of learning styles and developmental needs. In addition to classroom support, I tutor students in SAT preparation and Korean, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I enjoy creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow.
Approach
My approach to working with students is centred on understanding each individual’s learning style and tailoring my methods to meet their specific needs. Whether I’m supporting elementary, middle, or high school students, I focus on creating a positive and encouraging environment that builds confidence and motivates learning. When tutoring SAT or Korean, I break down complex concepts into manageable steps, provide practical examples, and use interactive techniques to keep students engaged.
