Fun Facts

One fact people should know about me is that I love my family, cooking, and I’m a yoga instructor. All the way around, I love to exercise. Additionally, we have two large cats (and when I say large, I mean 32 pounds and 28 pounds) named Lionel Richie and Harrison Ford.

About Me

I attended Arkansas Tech University, where I majored in Psychology, and graduated with a 3.7 GPA in 2002. Following undergraduate studies, I attended Harding University, earning a Master of Science in Clinical and School Counselling in 2010 and an Educational Specialist degree in Professional Counselling in 2017, with a 4.0 GPA in both advanced degrees.

Experience

As a lifelong educator of over 18 years, 5 as a classroom teacher and 13 1/2 as a school counselor, I’ve taught Kindergarten to Undergraduate College Courses to Graduate Courses to Adult Education, counseled students of all ages, and taught Adult Education classes for 2 years.

Approach

I believe everyone has a unique learning style and has different needs. I try my best to meet learners where they are so that they successfully reach their goals.
