About Me

I am a Financial Policy Specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. I am interested in part-time teaching and tutoring. I am a red/black belt in Taekwondo and do Tai Chi. I also like the gym and watching sports. History was my minor in university, and it is my favourite subject. I would like to get my master's degree in American history.

Experience

I have successfully trained/mentored employees at work. I am an Assistant Aerospace Education Officer with the Civil Air Patrol and an Instructor with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. I am also a certified Tai Chi Instructor.

Approach

I believe in a student-centred approach to learning. Each student has their strengths and weaknesses with regard to the subject they are studying. I will seek the best available approach for each student.
