Fun Facts
I unwind with Pilates and painting—my go-to methods for relaxation and recharge. I’m passionate about supporting children, both in the classroom and in their emotional growth.
About Me
I graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counselling. As a Baltimore native, I’m deeply connected to the community I serve. I’m passionate about self-care, spirituality, and overall mental wellness—values that guide both my personal life and professional goals. My mission is to support others, especially children, in building healthy minds and meaningful lives.
Experience
I’m currently a tutor with Dojo, an online platform that offers flexible scheduling for families. I work with students in grades K–3, focusing on math, reading, and social-emotional learning skills. My passion for education began during college, where I tutored the children of professors as part of my minor in Education, gaining hands-on experience in personalised, student-centred instruction.
Approach
I’ve been fortunate to learn from teachers who not only prioritised my education but also genuinely cared about my overall well-being. Their enthusiasm for teaching matched my excitement to learn—and that experience has shaped the way I approach tutoring. I strive to bring that same energy and compassion into every session, creating a space where students feel supported, confident, and empowered—both academically and socially/emotionally.
