About Me

I am a Special Education Paraeducator with experience in Inclusion, ESOL, Physical Education, Dyslexia, Pre-k and Access Point.

Experience

As a Paraeducator for the Polk County School Board, I have taught 4th, 5th, and 3rd-grade inclusion and ESL. I have also worked in special education pre-k for the last 4 years. I have also received Orton-Gillingham training to help children with dyslexia.

Approach

As a person who works in Education and the mother of a child with a disability, my approach involves repetition, positive reinforcement and the philosophy that learning is about the process and the mistakes that are made along the way.
