Seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of experience in technical instruction, application and database development, and team leadership, seeking to empower learners through hands-on training in computer skills.
Experience
I had the opportunity to work with residents of a small community in Austin, TX, where I held a basic computer skills course at the community centre. I've taught my class how to navigate the Windows operating system and navigate the web using the Edge browser. Most recently, I helped a friend complete high school by tutoring him through his final programming course, which he successfully was able to finish to receive his high school diploma.
Approach
As a Bible teacher, I’ve come to deeply value the patience, persistence, encouragement, and love Jesus showed while guiding his disciples. I strive to embody those same qualities when tutoring others, creating a supportive and uplifting learning environment.
