I have one younger brother and love to do outdoor activities like playing soccer and lacrosse, and going skiing.
About Me
I am a sophomore at the University of Southern California studying Economics and Mathematics. I have achieved a 4.0 GPA during my tenure in college. I have had an internship in the US House of Representatives, and am pursuing careers in finance and economic policy.
Experience
During High School, I worked with the head of my school's math department to perform after-school math tutoring for students studying Algebra and AP Calculus. During my first year of college, I worked with a non-profit to provide tutoring services to local middle school students. I obtained a 1510/1600 on my SAT.
Approach
I approach tutoring on a case-by-case basis, adapting my teaching style to the type of kid I am working with and what they require. Sterner styles work better with certain tutees, while positive reinforcement and other methods are more productive with other types of tutees. I utilize constructive criticism and positive reinforcement to motivate students and encourage them to truly want to succeed.
