I love tennis, hiking, and working out at the gym. I also love learning about the latest educational trends. I am the only child and have four kids.

About Me

I just semi-retired in July of 2025. I have served 32 years in education, most of those years as a school principal in the TK-8 setting, and previously as a school teacher in the elementary setting.

Experience

As a principal and teacher, I have had the opportunity to assist students with their specific learning needs and tutor them in mainly the areas of reading and math to master the state standards and learning content.

Approach

As a young child, I had difficulty learning math. However, as I progressed in grades, I not only had a teacher and tutor who inspired me, but also gave me the tools in an approach that I could succeed. To this day, I love helping students understand their learning. It must be at a gradual pace that makes the learner comfortable and successful.
