About Me

I am an aspiring Molecular Biologist who loves research, and I hope to continue my career by completing a Master’s or PhD in my field.

Experience

I tutored 9th and 10th graders in Biology, Chemistry and Math. I used my own material and helped prepare them for the international Cambridge IGCSE exams. I also tutored middle schoolers from 6th, 7th and 8th grade, helping them get ready for their Checkpoint Exams, and assisting them with their school curricula.

Approach

I generally enjoy teaching through understanding and refrain from using methods that focus on a heavy amount of memorization or repetition. I’d like to teach my students the principles and fundamentals of our subjects, rather than having them memorize, ensuring that they can apply the concepts they understand to all the problems they might see in their classes.
