I pride myself in my writing skills and have always enjoyed helping others with the drafting, revision, and editing processes. Crafting concise, articulate, and well-researched papers was a favorite of mine among what my professors asked of us during my time at Wesleyan.

Biology Tutoring

Scoring a 5 on AP Biology in high school, I have always loved studying this Earth Science as well as helping my peers understand the material and its applications on a deeper level.

English Tutoring

I scored a 5 on the AP English Language and Composition exam as well as a 760/800 on the SAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing section my junior year of high school. English is a frequently counterintuitive but fascinating language, and igniting a passion in the subject— or at least an acceptance of it— in students who are currently struggling is truly rewarding.

AP English Tutoring

I scored a 5 on the AP English Language and Composition exam and revel in opportunities to help others better grasp rhetorical tools, writers' and speakers' implicit goals and how they attempt to achieve those, and how to apply those tactics oneself as a student crafting essays and longer-form papers.

Math Tutoring

I received a 760/800 as my SAT math score my junior year of high school, as well asa 5 on my AP Calculus exam. Math is a subject that many students find tricky and tedious, but I believe that by making the learning process more engaging and even fun students can reach a point at which they feel fully prepared to tackle homework assignments and tests with confidence.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I received a 760/800 on my SAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing score. As a student who struggled with reading comprehension early in my academic career and had to apply a high work ethic and a lot of diligence to catch up, I love being able to help others undergo the same process.

Psychology Tutoring

I majored in psychology at Wesleyan and have spent a lot of time since my graduation applying that knowledge and framing it in more accessible ways.

Statistics Tutoring

I scored a 5 on the AP Statistics exam in high school and spent a lot of my class and study hall time helping my classmates with the material, which can often seem convoluted or counterintuitive. I find statistics really interesting, and it's rewarding to witness students I'm tutoring begin to unlock the secrets of the field of study.

I attended a public charter school specializing in classics and, as a result, studied Latin from 5th grade through 12th grade. My Latin language studies culminated in a 5 on the AP Latin exam, followed by a four-student Advanced Latin Seminar my senior year created specifically for students who loved the language so much that we were not ready for our studies to come to a close.
