About Me
I’m Aundrea Sayler, an educator, memoirist, and advocate who believes learning should be a brave space, not just a safe one. With nearly a decade of experience in schools and tutoring, I specialize in trauma-informed, student-centered instruction that honors each learner’s voice, story, and pace. My passion lies in helping students rise through creative writing, reflective journaling, and academic support in ELA and math.
Experience
I bring nearly a decade of hands-on experience in education, tutoring, and advocacy, with a focus on emotionally safe, inclusive learning environments. My journey includes roles as a substitute teacher (K–12), long-term Life Skills instructor, teacher’s assistant, and Save the Children advocate, as well as five years of tutoring across grade levels. My approach is rooted in emotional safety, creative expression, and student voice. I design tutoring sessions that meet learners where they are, academically and emotionally, using trauma-informed strategies, gentle structure, and culturally responsive practices.
