About Me

I am a web developer and GIS specialist for GLANSIS, the database of aquatic invasive species in the Great Lakes region. I have experience developing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, performing spatial analyses in ArcGIS Pro, and conducting data analytics using languages such as R or Python.

Experience

I have been a robotics coach for elementary school students. This role has allowed me to develop mentoring skills and support youth learning in technical fields.

Approach

I always like to customise my teaching approach depending on my students. I try to be aware of the different learning styles people may have, incorporating more visuals, engagement, etc., when necessary. In addition, I like to adopt a patient approach when teaching, giving students time and room to grow at their own pace.
