Fun Facts
I LOVE learning but my passion is music. I encourage others to think more outside of the box. When I'm not practicing, I spend my time reading, researching, or looking for my next travel destination. I also enjoy soccer, dance, cooking, and anime.
About Me

I've graduated with a BA in Music Performance and a minor in mathematics from fresno-pacific-university">Fresno Pacific University. Post-graduation, I hope to continue travelling and further my career by performing professionally, pursuing a teaching credential, or returning to school for further education.
Experience
I've had the opportunity to fresno">tutor elementary and junior high students in math, work with elementary school students in sports, chaperone junior high students during music conventions, and teach junior and high school students music performance and theory. I love working with children and helping them develop in whatever area they wish to pursue, and Frog fresno">Tutoring gives me an opportunity to connect with more students.
Approach
Even though I came from an under-privileged family, I attended charter schools (KIPP Academy and UHS) that prepared me for university courses. I learned many skills that help me with college and real-world experiences today. I am very excited to learn and attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions!

Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring
I use this program for studying, presentations, and science classes (in conjunction with Microsoft Excel). Professors upload PowerPoint lectures for us to study from, with and without notes and special features throughout the presentation. For science classes, we have to submit a lab poster - customizing the settings for the slide in order to include all of the information required for a good grade.
Microsoft Word Tutoring
I know the basics of this program - I've been using it ever since middle school to submit homework assignments and papers - in MLA or APA format. I also use it to create study guides.
