About Me

I’m a 19-year-old sophomore Biology major at UTSA, aspiring to become a dentist by 2030. I’ve played piano for 14 years, bass for 8, and perform in the UTSA Orchestra. Outside of school and music, I love soccer and finding new ways to challenge myself, including being a Registered Dental Assistant.

Experience

I have extensive tutoring experience, beginning in high school through the National Honor Society, where I helped classmates in challenging subjects. Since then, I’ve worked with elementary and middle school students, continuing to provide academic support and mentorship. These roles have strengthened my ability to teach, communicate, and connect with kids in different learning stages.

Approach

My approach to tutoring is centered on patience, encouragement, and meeting students where they are. I draw from my experience tutoring peers through the NHS in high school and helping elementary and middle school students build confidence in their studies. I believe in breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, while motivating students through positive reinforcement. My goal is not only to help them understand the material, but also to give them the tools and confidence.
