I have two cats named Voodoo and Frida Katlo that I love dearly. I moved to San Antonio, TX, from Pittsburgh, PA, in August of 2024, and I've lived all over the East Coast. Ask me about my adventures!

About Me

I earned my MFA in Poetry from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington back in 2019. I'm currently pursuing a Google certificate in UX design, but I'm still passionate about teaching and helping students grow.

Experience

During my time as a graduate student, I worked as a tutor at the university's writing center. I've also worked as a long-term substitute English teacher across schools in Pittsburgh, as well as a substitute teacher at charter schools here in San Antonio.

Approach

I'm dedicated to helping my students succeed, and I believe the right approach to helping them do so can make all the difference. I believe in positive reinforcement and the idea that practice makes perfect.
