In my own time, I am a wire wrap artist and make my own custom jewellery to sell and as gifts to my loved ones, and I own my own Etsy shop that I just opened in August of this year. I sew and hope to publish my own book one day, and am a huge A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) fan.

About Me

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and am a graduate of Occidental College, a liberal arts college located in Eagle Rock next to Pasadena, so I am a So-Cal girl through and through. I have been teaching non-stop since I graduated and have tutored all ages from K-12th grade.

Experience

I have taught both in person and online, and in small groups of students and one-on-one as well, in every area of English, and recently have started teaching middle and high school level test prep math too. I have seven years' worth of teaching experience under my belt.

Approach

I was a pretty average student throughout elementary school and only started finding my own footing academically in middle and high school because I began to learn who I am and my own unique learning style. I didn't have much support in high school, and was in a pretty competitive environment, and teacher support was very limited at my public high schoo,l so I had to learn to do things on my own, and I want to make it so other students don't have to go through that same experience.
