I might appear to be extremely engaged with my educational endeavors, but I could switch buttons at a given time. I love hanging out with friends, painting, and cooking. One could say I am quite good with my hands. I also enjoy singing and dancing to get my groove on.
About Me
I aspire to become a surgeon in order to save people’s lives. Achieving this goal has appeared to be a big mission I need to accomplish. I am currently a graduating senior majoring in biology/premed at Huston Tillotson university with an overall GPA of 3.9. I am determined to maintain outstanding grades and get involved in numerous scientific programs and community services. I further plan to participate and volunteer in great deals of medical research prior to my admission into medical school.
Experience
Being a Peer Learning Consultant for three years greatly widened my perception when it comes to peer-mentorship. I now have a clear understanding of most strategies and challenges in austin">tutoring. These perceptions were enhanced by training and through my journey working with students. It is a great responsibility to be tapped as academically reliable, and I happen to enjoy knowing that I am giving back to my community with my entire heart.
Approach
In order to gain academic success, one should not only pay attention to the major factors, but to also consider the simple things behind the scenes. It is of great importance to realize that minor things that accumulate to major things generate major effects. If one is to be academically successful beyond all measures, simple academic traits should be practiced. These traits include, time management, organization, determination, assertiveness, optimism and interest etc.
