Fun Facts

I love learning new things wherever I can, even if it's the smallest topic! I have two cats who love to watch me work and never leave my side. When I am not tutoring, you can find me organising or working on cars! I have experience with just about everything you can think of. I am the oldest of four children, and have learned the most through that experience alone.

About Me

I attended Texas Tech University and quickly found that Psychology was my favourite subject. After graduating with a degree in Science, I became certified as a Registered Behavioural Technician. My sister is on the Autism Spectrum, and teaching/tutoring her was the biggest push I had into this field. I specialise in tutoring clients with ASD and ADHD!

Experience

I often tutored my friends in Middle school/High School. Along with volunteering to work with education/texas/dallas">Special Education students, I also found myself tutoring my family of all ages! I won 1st place two years in a row at the Math Competition and was in the Accelerated Gifted and Talented Program in my school district.

Approach

As a child, learning was very easy for me. However, after High School, I found that learning became to become a problem. After learning about different learning and teaching styles, I found that none of my teachers taught the way that I learned! Because of this, I recognise students' differences and do everything in my power to teach the same way my clients will learn effectively!
