About Me

I am a senior-status Sports Science major at Northern Michigan University, located in Marquette in the Upper Peninsula. I've been on the Dean's list each semester I have attended this school. When I graduate, I am planning on attending Duke University to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy and become a licensed physical therapist!

Experience

In high school, I volunteered at the all-subjects tutoring center. I am currently employed at my university's on-campus Student Success Center, where I tutor students twice a week in both Anatomy & Physiology I and II.

Approach

Anatomy & Physiology is a beautifully complex subject that we all know can be overwhelming at times. I believe that breaking the concepts down one by one, starting by understanding the necessary vocabulary and utilizing visual images, builds a strong foundation for lasting knowledge. I strive to teach students the material in a way that caters to their preferred method of learning.
