Fun Facts
I am a dedicated and compassionate individual with a lifelong passion for supporting growth, learning, and family connection. As a mother of five grown children whom I homeschooled, I have developed exceptional skills in organization, patience, communication, and individualized support. These experiences have strengthened my ability to guide others, adapt to challenges, and create nurturing environments where people can thrive.
About Me
Driven by a passion for helping others and strengthening communities, I’ve built my career in the nonprofit and community service sector. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Community Service from the University of North Texas and later completed my master’s in Human Services from the University of Arizona, graduating with a 3.52 GPA.
Experience
I’ve homeschooled my five children and have had the opportunity to tutor students of all ages over the years.
Approach
My approach to tutoring is centered on patience, encouragement, and understanding each student’s unique learning style. I believe that every student can succeed when they feel supported and confident. I start by getting to know where a student is academically and emotionally — what motivates them, what challenges them, and how they learn best. From there, I tailor my lessons to fit their needs, using different strategies, examples, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging and meaningful
