About Me

I am a proud graduate of the University of the West Indies, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education in 2017. My academic journey, which was enriched by several meaningful volunteer experiences, not only strengthened my pedagogical skills but also ignited a passion for shaping impactful educational experiences. I am now eager to pursue a Master's degree at Florida State University to become a curriculum leader who drives innovation and equity in education.

Approach

As a student, I struggled deeply with learning. It was confusing, out of reach, and I was fearful of the classroom. But that began to change when I started pursuing a degree in education. It was then that I discovered not only how to learn, but how to teach. This experience has shaped my mission as an educator. Today, with my skills and experience, I'm committed to creating supportive environments where diverse learners feel seen, inspired, and capable of success.
