I am an English teacher at a high school in New Hampshire. I have two Bachelor's degrees from New England College in Secondary Education (English) and education/massachusetts/boston">Special Education. I have a Master's of Education from Clemson University, and I am halfway through working on my Doctorate of Education via the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's online program.

I am skilled in virtual instruction, personalized feedback, and fostering confidence in academic and creative writing. I am committed to creating engaging, student-centered online learning experiences that promote clarity, organization, and voice in student writing.

Approach

As someone with a background in both mainstream and education/massachusetts/boston">special education, I find that a student-centered approach is incredibly helpful in teaching students. Meeting the students where they are and interjecting their passions into the lessons are crucial for actual learning to take place.
